HEAD OF PARTNERSHIPS, VOYAGERS

VOYAGERS, a community of impact-driven people, seeks a Head of Partnerships to enable our expansion and help fulfil our ambition: to connect mission-driven people in a culture of trust and generous peer support in ways that enable outstanding outcomes.

The role involves:

Identifying and building partnerships with organisations and individuals aligned with the VOYAGERS mission
Securing sponsorship for VOYAGERS activities
Securing discounts on relevant goods and services for VOYAGERS members
Helping promote VOYAGERS’ various activities and participating in these activities as part of the VOYAGERS team.
The role is remote and hours are to be agreed with the successful candidate. You will have free access to, and will be encouraged to join, the VOYAGERS weekend adventures, of which there are five planned for 2023.

Qualities sought:

The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial and commercially minded, able to identify and follow up on partnership opportunities; results-driven and an able negotiator; self-starting and well organised, yet also a team player; aligned with the values of VOYAGERS and an ambassador for the community. We are less interested in the candidate’s formal qualifications and experience than in their potential and their drive.

About VOYAGERS
VOYAGERS is a diverse, international group of impact-driven people who commit to supporting each other. Our goal is to build peer support – through online networking and also through local meetups, weekend networking trips, co-working retreats and more.  We have specialist communities working in climate-tech and in health-tech, as well as a generalist community.

We filter for “givers not takers” and people engage in VOYAGERS as individuals, not as representatives of organisations. We do not charge a membership fee and we price our activities transparently.

Current VOYAGERS activities include:
•Dinners and meetups
in 15 cities across Europe, North America and Asia
•Three-day networking adventures in magical locations
•The VOYAGERS Climate-Tech Festival, a 200-person event in London
•Online workshops where community knowledge is shared
•Shared directories of resources, from recommended suppliers to fundraising opportunities
•Email newsletters where VOYAGERS share their “asks and offers”
•Discounted access to goods and services
Co-working retreats
•VOYAGERS Fast Connections, matching VOYAGERS with similar interests for curated introductory meetings
•VOYAGERS Cabins, small groups that meet monthly in confidence for moderated peer-coaching
•VOYAGERS investment funds, enabling VOYAGERS to back startups in the community
•Other experiments, ranging from a virtual band to cycle rides and podcasts.
